The site and who runs it

The website at lordace.net (the "site") is run by Ace. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

What the site is for

The site describes what I do, lists what I am currently looking for, and gives you a way to send me an inquiry. It is information, not an offer, and sending an inquiry does not create an engagement. Any work is done only under a separate written agreement, and nothing on this site forms part of such an agreement unless that agreement says so.

Inquiries

What you send through the form must be true, lawful, and yours to send. I may decline any inquiry without giving a reason. I am not obliged to reply, keep anything confidential, or act on anything sent through the form unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Using the site

You may view and link to the site for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the site's operation, probe or test its security without written permission, scrape it at a rate that burdens it, or use the form to send unsolicited or automated communications.

Content and marks

The text, design, code and images on the site belong to Ace or are used under licence. The ACE mark and the line "Ace is a way of life" are used by Ace. You may not reproduce the site's content commercially without written permission. Short quotations with attribution are fine.

No warranties

The site is provided as is. I try to keep it accurate and available, and I do not promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the site or anything on it.

Links to other sites

Where the site links to third-party sites, those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and I am not responsible for them.

Changes and contact

I may update these terms by publishing a new version on this page with a new date. Questions go through the inquiry form.
